Introduction
MIM-O (“Memories I Make Online”) is a mobile application designed to help you capture, organize, and share life’s meaningful moments with family and friends. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Note: MIM-O is currently in beta testing. This policy applies to beta participants and will be updated as the app evolves.
When you create a MIM-O account, we collect:
- Email address
- Display name
- Profile photo (optional)
User-Generated Content
When you use MIM-O, you may create and upload:
- Photos and videos
- Event details and descriptions
- Comments and messages
- Audio recordings (audiograms)
- Device information (model, operating system)
- App usage data (features used, session duration)
- Crash reports and performance data
Location Data
With your permission, we may collect location data to:
- Associate events with locations
- Enable location-based features
- Provide nearby event notifications
You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the MIM-O app experience
- Enable you to create, share, and organize memories

- Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase cloud services
- We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest
- User-generated content (photos, videos) is stored in secure cloud storage
- We implement access controls to protect your account

We do NOT sell your personal information.
We may share your information only in these circumstances:
- With other users, as directed by you (e.g., sharing events with invited participants)
- With service providers who help us operate the app (cloud hosting, analytics)
